30 Days of Gratitude - Day 25

What am I greatful for today;
1) My Clothes... It seems that my SL wardrobe has featured a lot in these 30 days so far, maybe it is because I can never dress up quite like I do in RL, being a big girl I would never be seen in most of Rudh's clothing in RL it would cause too many people to have nightmares for the rest of their lives! Yet I love it when you can go and find something really awesome for FREE and it looks cool, like this egg top, necklace and ring set from Tentacio!
2) Rubbish TV... I am not really feeling very well today, fighting with HellBone and problems with Izzy, topped with cleaning the house for my parents visit, has made me feel like I want to just curl up and sleep. I am sitting with my craptop on my lap, and something random on the TV... Oh it's South Park, random, but chilling on the sofa with Izzy and chillaxing... BLISS!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 24

What am I greatful for today;
1) Glamazon Song... LOL, Lynnie found this song this morning and I fell in love with it, it isn't my usual preference when it comes to music yet I try to pride myself on having a fairly ecclectic taste and this song was just too cool for me to not include it! The song speaks to me, "she's so bloody tall" is a line from the song that just screams volumes for me at the moment as a lot of my friends are shorter than I am. I am by no means one of the amazon types you see wandering around sometimes, I'm kinda middling height for SL, yet sometimes I really do feel like a Glamazon!!! hehe!!! Thank you RuPaul for this song it's brilliant hehe... Oh yea and Drag Queens = AWESOME!! hehe!
2) Piercings... I love piercings, but kinda get freaked a little bit by needles. It's not a real problem, I got my ears pierced when I was 23, took a while for someone that loves to see different piercings, yet some of the piercings that seem to be around in SL are amazing. I am totally in love with this gorgeous cheek and nose piercing that came from [ni.ju] at a past Perfect Wardrobe, which I will admit I teamed with an old favourite from Acide!. I am also loving my new chest piercing with it's USB and cable plug-ins hehe...
  3) Potato Croquettes... MMMMMMMm easy and yummy, what a good thing to have with my dinner... I had them with sausages and beans, lazy dinner because I am home alone for dinner tonight and I hate cooking for myself! Not very healthy I know, but hey it's a one off!
4) Being given an honest opinion... I asked Lynnie what she thought of my photo I had worked on for the colour challenge to go up on Sunday, I had worked on it a while, but Lynnie told me honestly that she thought it wasn't a great photo because of the fact that Rudh looked kinda pixelated... I am gonna try to follow the steps that she suggested, if I can get SL to work... I wonder if I can sign myself up for photo lessons with Lynnie101!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 23

What am I greatful for today;
1) Re-organising my blog... I decided that I would look to see what the blog looked like flicked around so that the pictures ran down the left-hand side. This might seem kinda petty, but I wanted to see if there was a way that I could get pictures to look bigger, I was getting sick of all the tiny pictures that I was having to put up, especally when they were horizontal. I wanted BIGGER PICTURES lol. I also changed the commenting thing so that hopefully anyone can comment, but that I will need to check the comments first. I don't want my friends to feel they cannot comment.
2) Playing with my clothing... I love being able to spend a few hours playing with my wardrobe... I spent time putting together an outfit for the colour challenge and even something new to wear. I have been lazy as of late, I put on one outfit then seem to not be bothered to change for the next couple of days!! I am so lazy huh? Today I put on an outfit and was even bought some new boots by Vix hehe...
3) Being made to feel special... Thanks Vix...

In the street with Lyn and Rudh

Click to see the picture full size, it looks better when it is bigger hehe!!
Not only is Lynnie a freaking fab designer, running KOSH and Concrete Flowers, she is a kick butt photographer. You might have read in my 30 Days of Gratitude about being able to sit on her balls to get a photo taken, well this was the outcome!
Such a gorgeous, simple and yet brilliant photo to show the closeness that I feel with this woman. I have said, a lot, what I feel about Lynnie. She has been rather quiet of late, like me she has been kinda unhappy, and so we have been giving each other a bit of space. I am glad she is back though, I missed her!
*hugs* Thank you for the gorgeous picture Lynnieloo!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 22ish

OK calling a post day 22 of 31 when I have actually missed a few days now does seem like cheating... I have been a bit of a bad blogger and just felt like I ran outta blogging juice recently. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I never blogged on my personal ramblings everyday before, but although I had a reason to I just couldn't find the things to say that I wanted to.
I got kinda depressed, brought on I guess by the fact that I had a monthly visit from my own personal "red army" as well as the fact that I haven't heard anything about the job I had the interview for, mixed with computer trouble! Sometimes it just gets to be too much ya know?
Yet anyway, I am determined to finish this challenge, and although I have missed a few days I plan to pick up where I left off...

What am I greatful for today;
1) A few days of peace... It is weird, taking myself away from blogging and SL pretty much has given me a renewed vigour for it. I find myself actually wanting to blog something now, so I guess a few days peace and down time never hurt anyone!
2) The nice things people say... One of my newest friends, Suki Steampunk, is a woman I adore, after not knowing her for long and meeting through Seraphim I will say that I am greatful for getting to know her and our, as she puts it, "Bro-Ho-Mance". She wrote something really sweet on her new blog about Seraphim in general, and said I was "one of her favourite people, period", it's comments like that, that even though you know loads of people care about, are always nice to hear!!! Check out her blog, maybe I can get her to photograph me one day?!
3) Time to take some photos... I got to have a ride on Lynnie's Balls today. Poseballs I mean, she told me to park my butt on a pose ball she would move around while she took some pics. Then after dinner I played around taking pics of Hell's new bikes, the colour challenge pic AND put together a new look I wanna photograph soon!!! I AM ON A ROLL!!

52WOCC2 - Week 17

The colour this week had me kinda stumped. At first I thought YAY GREY, but then I realised there is a definite blueish tint to it, once I coloured my photo booth I was convinced that there was a hint of blue and that made my thoughts of Yay and any possible ideas that I had for this colour go flying out the window. I stood myself on a pose stand, heaved a sigh and started digging through the warehouse that is my wardrobe, when out the corner of my eye I spotted the little beauty of a dress hidden lurking in an unworn SAKIDE folder!
When I had the dress on, it reminded me of a dress I had when I was three years old, it got me looking back over old photographs that my sister, Sophie, had sent me copies of recently and I found myself pulling an outfit on Rudh that would have been the kinda thing my mum put me in for a party when I was three... Of course it's on Rudh so it doesn't look ANYTHING like a three year old, lol but its the outfit as a whole that reminded me of my childhood (without the piercing btw hehe!)
Just for a bit of interest for anyone who might be interested, this is what I looked like when I was three...
Check out my mum's 80s hair LOL! We can let her off though it was 1989 after all!!!
Now back to Rudh, modelling a when I was three style look, with my favourite toy which I spent hours bringing to life in SL, Dogga - I wrote a post about him, go check it out here!!!
Week 17 - Shuttle Grey
Week 17: Will you push me on the swings?
What is she wearing;
Hair: Exile – Midnight in Paris
Necklace: Dark Mouse – Happy Bow
Outfit: SAKIDE – Insanely Cute Dress
Toy: Made it myself, I am not the best builder in SL, fact I am still pretty newbie at it after 5 years, but I am kinda proud that I could sit down and build something.
Shoes: Shiny Things – Zimmy Flats

There is my trip down memory lane, feel free to point and laugh at the lil ginger kid. I will say I love that picture of me, Mum, teeny baby Soph and my Grandma, it screams to me "I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!" but then I was always the favourite LOL!
Next Week - Thistle

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 21

What am I greatful for today;
1) A Conversation with Bean... Fledge's son Jamie, known as Bean since he was still bean sized and inside Fledge, is a child genius. By age 4 he can use a computer REALLY well, can read and write and therefore have conversations in gtalk, and Fledge even tells me he is learning - or has learnt - his numbers in German too!! We discussed being pirates today, he said he was sick like his mummy has been and that it was his leg, but he didn't want to be a pirate. However, the good news is he wants to be Jamie and I can be Aunty Rudh the Pirate.
2) Planning a Parental Visit... Mum and Dad are coming over next Friday for a few days over the Dutch Queens Day festivities. I can't wait to see them!! They booked their flights today!! YAY
3)Pencilling a photoshoot into my diary... Lynnie is my profile photo maker, I love the way her photos come out, and so I wanted her to take a new one for me... Only problem is we have no time and brains like sieves so we pencilled each other in and will definitely have a shoot on Monday LOL - I hope!!! LOL...

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 20

What am I greatful for today;
1) HellBone letting me use his PC... No matter what I do or what we try, my PC since the end of last year has been giving me masses of trouble. Right now I have replaced both the graphics card AND bought new memory for the machine, yet still things aren't working quite so well as they should. Hell has let me share his PC once again to see if he can actually get mine fixed, but in the meantime I will be juggling PCs once again! Lucky me huh? Still least he is being nice and letting me use his when he doesn't need it!
2) Pretty Presents... Lynnie sent me a surprise present today, she does that sometimes and every time I get all squeaky. I am such a spoilt princess sometimes I really am hehe... She knows that she doesn´t have to buy me things but she seems to like doing so, and I am not gonna complain, I just wish I could treat her more often!! Last night she sent me some GORGEOUS rings from Mandala!!! I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM!!
3) Giggles... I love it when you get the giggles and you just can't stop. It hasn't seemed to have happened for a while with me until today when I farted and blamed Izzy for it. Hell fell for it for like 15 minutes, so that meant a good 20 minutes of laughing.Proper laughing, that could be constituted as exercise if you read some magazine articles, hehe... Poor Izzy being blamed for a mummy toot, but seriously I didn't think Hell would fall for it LOL... I better shush I can't laugh anymore it hurts!

I really cant think what to write about today, I am having a total mental block which is possibly because I have never blogged this much since I started my blog LOL... I'm gonna leave it at 3 things and go and enjoy a shower and a lovely hot cuppa tea!!! Night Night everyone!

30 Days of Gratitude - Days 18 & 19

Yesterday I totally meant to get a post done for my 30 Days of Gratitude, but I spent all evening with Vix photographing the items for the Jersey Shore Hunt today, and I just felt so sleepy at 11PM that I just went to bed! I think I have this weird thing in me where I get to about 9PM and BAM! Insta-Sleepy! So today I will do two days in one... Hope that can be forgiven!

What am I greatful for today and yesterday;
1) Getting out for some exercise... Since I don't have a job I find myself sitting behind the computer a lot, when I am not cleaning the house or walking Izzy, yet today Hell and I went to see some of the old customers that he has left over from the gardening business he used to have in the past. These are people we go to every 6 months or so, and today we got to go do some work for them... It was lovely to be gardening at these places, they are in the SUPER RICH parts of Amsterdam and the only sounds we could hear were that of cows in neighbouring fields and bees... I would love to live in one of these houses! Shame I ache all over now LOL!!
2) The SL Bug Moments... Whilst being posed by Vix I was hit by another weird SL Bug (I seem to have no end of luck with PCs and SL at the moment huh?!) It was like some weird face eating virus... STUPID GRAPHICS GLITCHES but LOL It had Vix and I in stitches, oh and there was the issue of my shape not changing too so I wore man skin on female shape... So attactractive!
3) A cupboard full of groceries... That's right today was a food shopping day in the RudhHellowen household. We stocked up and got a few nice extras as we always do just after Hell has been paid, and this time even got some yummies for when my parents come to visit soon!
4) New Boots... Simply the coolest boots ever! I will admit that I am addicted to Death Row Designs Boots, but seriously, THESE ARE JUST TOO FREAKIN FUNNEH TO MISS!!! I had to have them, and OK at a 200L price tag some might say they are a bit pricey for just a bit of a giggle but I couldn't resist! Now everyone, scream and run away in fear from Rudh's Killer Boots!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 17

What am I greatful for today;
1) My friend's TERRIBLE Chat Up Lines! As soon as I logged in this morning one of my old friend's Scorp appeared in my IM, apparently intent on testing some of his chat-up lines. They had me in stitches, I was laughing so hard, I woke Hell LOL!!! I wanted to share some here because they were just too classic not to, so ladies and gentlemen I present to you, SCORPION's CHAT UP LINES 101...
"Are you a lumberjack? Cuz you're giving me wood!"
"As long as i have a face, u alwayz have a place to sit."
"Are you free tonight or am I gonna have to pay?"
"Are you in to Casual Sex or should I dress up?"
2) Never Fly HellBone Airways... A second thing to happen that made me laugh this morning was just after Helly woke up. He has been playing with plane scripts so that he can script his soon to be released Fantastic 4 Movie Vehicle. Yet the way that he parked his plane would never have me flying with his airline!
3) MY FIRST MESH CLOTHING! Yes it is something to shout about, because today I pulled on a MESH Hoodie thinking, it would look terrible and it actually fitted perfectly, I was stunned!!! Normally I can't wear rigged mesh as I am a no mod shape, but today I COULD!!! I was so happy I had to take a picture!
4) Ancient FM... Fledge and her hubby found this radio station that streams through the net and I really was intrigued. I now use it as relaxation music! I've had it on most of the day today, and it is beautiful, really calming a bit like when you sit back and take a breath... I sound like such a geek, but if you like the Epic Fantasy Movies, a la Lord of the Rings, or just fancy something different you should check this out -

52WOCC2 - Week 16

Oh well, where to start with this post. I have been blogging up a storm here recently, every day I am writing about the things I am greatful for and I love being able to see how much I have done. OK the posts wont win me any awards, but they are like always, heartfelt and very rewarding at a time when I have been on the borderline of depression. It's nice to be able to find 5 minutes at the end of the day to just sit back and post something, anything, it doesn't matter what. Maybe I will try to do one of those post a day for a year things that you see people doing sometimes, ya know like a year in pictures or something. I am NOT the best photographer but I do love taking snapshots, so maybe hmm?
This week's colour anyway, a bright colour at last, I am SO OVER PASTELS! Yet still it was a cold colour, this is becoming almost as bad for me as the run on poop colours last year, where are the reds, the yellows and - never repeat I said this -  the pinks?! Have they fallen off the colour wheel or something, Luna?? LOL BRING THEM ON HON!!
Week 16 - Bright Turquoise
Week 16: On the look out for people wanting to end my Dictatorship LOL!
What is she wearing;
Hat: eskimo fashion - Dicktating Whore Military Hat
Hair: Magika - TwentyFour
Eye Make-Up: Aura - Fan Girl
Gasmask: ImmateriA - Vas Sanct Lor Gargoyle Gasmask
Jacket: Envious: Mystic Memories
Dress: Blah - My Sexy Doll Dress
Necklace: KOSH - The Key
Boots: Death Row Designs - Heavy Steel

Looks like I am something kinda weird, post apocalyptic dictator meets, oh what's that film called... Hell Loves it... ummm, Resident Evil, that's the one!! (Lol had to leave that in here, shows my thought process, I am Queen of the Brain Fart Moments!!! LOL)
Next Week - Shuttle Grey

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 16

What am I greatful for today;
1) A Good Nights Sleep... I woke this morning at my usual time of about 7.30, god knows why it was that early but for some reason my body is like 'oh it's light out now, wake up bish!' It doesn't really bother me, I am most productive in the mornings, but last night was a REALLY good nights sleep. Something I had been lacking in a while, guess now my interview was over I could finally relax and what with Hell being next to me warming up the bed, it was snuggly and just plain great!!
2) A SL Saturday Shopping Spree! There is so much shopping to be done over the weekend, Hell gave me a few lindens to play with so that maybe I can buy something nice, I am already eyeing things up... I LOVE shopping in SL where everything is so cheap hehe!!

Heading out to shop with my new MESH bag from SleepingKoala, HOW COOL IS THAT?
3) Being there as a shoulder to cry on... People I know seem to be suffering in the onslaught of Friday 13th. Things seem to go weel for some and then badly for others all at the same time, and even though I hope this isn't taken the wrong way, I am glad for once things seem to be going right for me, that won't ever stop me being a shoulder for anyone I know. I feel greatful that they would come to me even if it is just for a hug!
4) HUGS! The world would be a better place if it was run on hugs! I plan on hugging everyone more in future, as it makes me feel happy when people hug back!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 15

What am I greatful for today;
1) Friday 13th!... One of those weirdly superstitious days that people always seem to think are bad. My mum says she feels 13 is a lucky number! Let's just hope she is right as I have my rescheduled interview today!!
2) My Interview going well... I had my first interview in a long time today. It was supposed to be last week but what with it being Easter it was postponed to today. It seemed to go pretty well, the woman and I had a few giggles and she seemed to like my answers, so keep your fingers crossed for me... I really hope that I get this job, it will be interesting and I am sure there will be lots of people that I meet on a daily basis... Wish me luck!
3) Make-Up Remover... I hate wearing make-up and putting a face on is like sheer torture for me, but yet when you take it off, I use baby wet wipes for that btw, it feels SO GOOD to free your skin! I LOVED getting home from my interview with a chinese takeaway and putting on my jammies, before pulling my make-up off... Ahhhh Bliss!
4) Kawaii Goodness... I have been working to cover the Kawaii Fair on Seraphim these past few days, it will be going up either tomorrow or Sunday, but there is so much cute coming outta that one small space it is unreal! If Hello Kitty was brought to life in SL it would be HERE!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 14

What am I greatful for today;
1) Being able to make people feel good... This morning I was talking to an event planner in SL and arranged with her that Niki, Seraphim's new sweetie, would be covering an upcoming event. Niki was SO excited when a request to join the group came to her.
Niki squeals "omgawd im in the group"
Niki: just that made me excited -.-
I remember moments like that when I first got working with Seraphim... The Fangirl never leaves, I still get excited when I talk to certain designers, but seeing Niki's reaction was great and I felt like I'd done my first, and possibly only, good deed of the day. Niki needed cheering up, this seems to have worked hehe!
2) Bags... In RL I am addicted to handbags, as a big girl I claim that as clothing seems to cost more I will have less clothing and more accessories hehe! In SL though I have never really been one for carrying around a bag, seemed kinda pointless as I could carry my wardrobe warehouse with me, but then I spotted these, and they are an accessory that had me giggling like a mad woman. I think I will go with SLainsbury's. For those of you that don't know, Sainsbury's, Asda and Tesco are RL Supermarkets in the UK!! These bags are brilliant!! Wonder if they have one for SLaitrose (Waitrose)?
Get these from Sleeping Koala... At the moment I have only seen them at the upcoming Kawaii fair but I will let you know if I find them elsewhere.

Not feeling great, I had a lack of sleep last night so I am gonna be offline, spending time with a book, some crap TV and my PJs...

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 13

What am I greatful for today;
1) Laundry Drying Weather... Perfect for drying laundry today!!! Brilliant that's all I can say!
2) Queen's Day Preparations... Holland becomes one HUGE party on Queen's Day, April 30th, every year. Each year the Park becomes like a giant carnival or flea market, everyone is allowed to sell their old stuff, and this year like last year Hell and I will be going out to join them. My mum and dad plan to come over for a visit too, so I bought my mum a special hat, and plan on telling her that as it is her first Queen's Day she has to keep it on all day LOL... What do you think??
3)Seeing Lynnieloo... She's been a bit quiet lately, and I have missed her something chronic!
4) Getting the bed to myself again... Hell is back to working nightshifts, so I get the bed to myself YAY!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 12

What am I greatful for today;
1) Vivid Dreams... I woke up this morning and had had a dream that felt so real I could describe it in detail, from the way it looked to the way it sounded to the way it smelt. Was about a hotel with a difference and a school trip that never was, but it felt so real! Wasn't one of my nightmares, thank goodness, but it was really surreal, just a shame that it faded in my mind as I was making a cuppa this morning and had no time to write it down, otherwise it would have been "Move Over J.K.Rowling!"
2) Happy Memories... This time last year was the day that Hell and I had to make the sad decision to let our awesome Dog, Biko, go to sleep. She was a brilliant girl, the first dog that I had ever had anything to do with and she and I spent a lot of time together as I moved over to Holland! I can see a lot of her mannerisms in Izzy now too, don't know if that has something to do with the way we are training Izzy, but I always joke that Biko is teaching Izzy her naughty tricks!!! Miss you Biko, but we're smiling at the memories!
3) Rudh on Seraphim Backstage... My first post on Backstage, Seraphim's latest venture... Check me out!!! I will be bringing out a new interesting feature to the blog in the very near future too hehe!!
4) Hidden Object Games... I am addicted, it's a bit like treasure hunting in SL but with a really good story. Hell found me a couple and as I am feeling more than a bit meh today, I am gonna spend some time playing one... I think this one is about Dorian Grey!! Plus it will hone up my SL treasure hunting skills hehe!!
5) Pjs and Tea!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 11

What am I greatful for today;
1) My Tidy Inventory... It seems that there has been a massive spring cleaning bug that has taken over SL at the moment. I am hearing about so many people sorting their inventories, I just thank goodness mine has always been well organised like those that are being listed with tutorials... I have been doing that kinda cleaning for a long while now, almost since I started and it's great to know that I don't need to do that now hehe!!! Sorry for those of you that are stuck sorting your inventories but it is worth it in the end TRUST ME!
2) Those random LOL moments... From finding pictures of Vix wearing the coolest facelight ever (pictured) to making Niki pass out over the fact that her and I were having a conversation about Hell being able to handle 4 boobies, today has been a barrel of LOL and I have enjoyed every minute of it!
3) Looking at all the pretty seashell peach outfits... I have taken some time out with a cuppa tea today to sit and blog read, just looking at all the pretty that everyone is coming up with is awesome.
4) The New Umbrella Boat/Seat from LISP Bazaar for Collabor88... I don't often buy things from C88 as it doesn't always appeal to me style wise, but I couldn't resist this Umbrella Sea or Boat or whatever it is. It fits perfectly with my "Wendy House"!
5) Vix's interview going well... Vix had a RL interview today that seemed to go well for her, when you add that weird coincidence of her getting an interview in the same week as I have one, and the fact that Fledge went to the store when she came to Amsterdam before I knew her,  that I have the interview in on Friday, it kinda feels a bit like Serendipity... Maybe?

30 Days of Gratitiude - Day 10

What am I greatful for today;
2) Working with a bunch of ladies like the Seraphim Girls (and Mikel)... Never a dull moment goes by with this lot, there is drama sure, but we are such a diverse group of people that wouldn't have ever come together if it hadn't been for Seraphim and they are all a real barrel of crazy fun.OH AND... Check out the latest Seraphim Venture, our secret - Seraphim Backstage!
Photo shot and spliced together by miss Rita (aka lu scorpio).
From Left: Shae, Soph, Rita, Bells, Vix, Me, Li and Niki... Almost a full set, but not quite!

3) Being Busy... I love it when I have things to do, doesn't matter whether it is in RL or SL, I just love being busy! It always gives me a real sense of achievement when I can say I managed to get lots of things done!
4) Skull Ice Cream... I took a break from eating chocolate eggs, to be honest they were making me feel a bit sick, and traded them in for Ice Cream... SKULL ICE CREAM from Concrete Flowers in this week's Lazy Sunday! Made by the best Ice Cream maker on the planet!!!
5) Izzy... She forces her way up into my lap for a cuddle at the worst possible moment, but she is still getting bigger and one day that might not be able to happen anymore. She has learnt that if she tosses her head when she lets go of her ball she can play fetch with herself and that is just adorable, and she now gives you her paw when you ask for it, so long as she knows you are holding cookies ready for her!
6) MORE TEA!!!

52WOCC2 - Week 15

Well this week has been a rollercoaster of a week, thing seem to have been going right for Tim and I have my first interview in a long time on Friday, my PC is still giving me crap, it seems like I can't be in SL as well as in Skype I don't think the memory is enough to cope with all the goings on.
Today though I am dedicating this colour post to one of my newest friends, a friend that I managed to connect with over carousel kitties even though I had been following her blog for a long time... Miss Sama Yalin!
Sama is a Neko with a fabulous sense of style, that I was lucky enough to bond with over the Intrigue Co Carousel Kitties. She had some that I hadn't been able to win and so, although I was buying them off her at the time, we chatted for a lot longer and it was lovely to finally meet her in an IM in world, much better than just through blog comments.
This week's colour was a weird very, very pale colour and for some reason when I coloured my posing box in said colour it seemed rather cream in tone, matching cream outfits... So I went with that, but what to do, what to do? I needed an interesting idea. The colour struck me, as I was perusing the net looking for inspiration, as similar to Siamese cat fur, so that was the way I went... Siamese Rudh! I called on Sama for an opinion, she is  the most stylish Neko I know, and shall be renamed "The Glamour Puss". (DUDE SAMA that is such a cool name for your superhero identity, but shhhhh dont tell anyone it's you! LOL)
Week 15 - Seashell Peach
Week 15: Miaow, aren't I purrrrrrrrrrdy?
What is she wearing;
Head Kitten: +NK+ - neneko
Ears: SadiStic Designs - Neko Ears
Hair: Wasabi Pills - Kumi Pony Tail
Mouse: {PSYCHO:Byts} - Trapped Mouse
Choker: No longer available
Gloves: Sasssy Kitty Designs - Woolen Armwarmers
Hug Cat: *M* by Mui Runo - HUG amesho Cat
Outfit: [SAKIDE] - French Spring Ballet Dress
Tail: No longer available
Boots: Cipher - Punk Rock Boots

To Quote Sama, "You are a perfect little Neko", I hope I did Neko-kind proud and no one will wanna tell me off hehe, but her saying that is a compliment and I know I was so glad she approved hehe! So many kitties and I'm not even allowed one of the breedable ones!!! Lucky really, I hear they are addictive!
Next Week - Bright Turquoise

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 9

What am I greatful for today;
1) Being able to tell a friend off and still be loved in return... My friend and I were talking about how he hasn't been well recently. While we were talking it became apparent that he doesn't eat very healthily and rarely eats vegetables (and never eating fruit!), I curtly told him that it might be a reason he has been so ill and the veggies are good for you. Thinking that would make him hate me, I was suprised when he said "Happy to know one of my friends cares enough to yell at me".... Dawwwwww!!! Oh and he shall remain nameless LOL!!
2)My New Teddy Bear... I was given the coolest teddy bear in SL today! I had one in a little version from one of the stores that participated in the Depraved Nation Gacha Event, but whilst I was talking to the stores designer, she gave me one of the big snuggly ones!!! EEEEEH... Thank you miss Iokko!!
3) Finding an outfit for the Seraphim Photo... The girls, more so than me but I will be kinda taking part, of Seraphim have a big secret that will be put out for the world to see at some point this weekend (we hope?!). I'll talk more about the secret in another post, but for now they wanted a photo of us, as many as possible, for a group shot to announce it. Hard part was we all had to look like bunnies... Took me ages to find an outfit, but I got there in the end, just have to find Rita now! Here, lil paparazzi Rita... Follow the sound of someone wanting to be photographed hehe...
4) Being told I look cute... I had 3 random strangers IM me today to tell me I looked cute out of the blue! Two guys, one of which I spent time helping to shop and the other was just being a total flirt, fun to do but wast gonna go any further, the other was a woman who fell in love with my boots!! Was able to feel great and help people shop... YAY!
5) Skull Ice-creams... I'll make a picture tomorrow to show them off I think they are freaking awesome, more cool stuff straight from the imagination of my bestiepops Lynnieloo and her store, Kosh!
6) TEA!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 8

What am I greatful for today;
1) Waking up in bed next to Hell... It seems like a while since we have been able to wake up together, he's been working night shifts and so I have been vacating the bed at just about the time he is getting into it, it's been like 2 ships passing in the night!
2) My Interview being postponed... I was as nervous as all hell this morning, I didn't sleep very well last night and although she rang at the last minute to change the interview day it let me beathe a sigh of relief to get my thoughts together better...
3) Spending time chatting on the phone with a friend... I haven't seen this friend for a long time now, and it was great to get back to chatting with her. She used to be one of those people I spent a lot of time with in the past, and so talking to her again felt good.
4) A cuppa!!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 7

What am I greatful for today;
1) Finding a cute outfit... I love playing in my SL closet, and finding something cute to wear always brings a smile to my face... what do you think? Cute or not? Be honest now hehe...
2) Taking some time out... Today I got to put some more interesting things out in my girlie Wendy house I call home in SL. I haven't finished decorating even though we've been living there for almost three months lol... But I got to play at home and that made me feel good inside!
3) A Lucky Streak?... Hell seems to be on a lucky streak at the moment, hope that doesn't end as I write this, but this morning he came home from work and told me he won a CD on the radio from the "next big thing" Dutch Band called 'Go Back To The Zoo'. Hope this bodes well for tomorrow!
4 ) Grocery Shopping... I don't mind doing it if you can actually get around the old people that seem to congregate in the aisles or the kid with the screaming habdabs (why don't we use words like that anymore?) on the floor, but when you get home and put things away it always feels nice to see well stocked shelves again...
5) Clean sheets... I change our bedding far more than is truely necessary, because I love the feeling and smell of clean sheets... MMMM

A Million Hoodies in SL

My sister Fledge was invited to join a group on Flickr called A Million Hoodies in SL. Upon hearing about the idea it sparked my interest, and after seeing her post, although Flickr and I don't really ever work together I felt that this was a cause I would love to get on the bandwagon and support too...
One for a Million Hoodies in SL!
As an avid hoodie wearer in RL, this story is both saddening and rather scary. OK the fact that I am a white female, would probably mean that this wouldn't affect me, but it does raise issues.
The reason behind this campaign is to raise awareness and protest about the shooting of Treyvon Martin, a regular 17 year old guy in America who was shot on his way home from a quick trip to get some skittles, and the handling of the subsequent case thereafter. The shooter, who was a guard for the gated community in which the shooting took place, claimed that Treyvon looked suspicious, yet even after calling the police and being told not to follow him the guard took things into his own hands and took the life of a young man who only went out for some sweets!
This case is now a racial case, Treyvon was black and his shooter, who although arrested initially was let off without anything so much as a warning, was white. Racism is something that I have never understood, I know the history behind it but I guess no matter how much something is fought for, even if something is won there will always be some astigmatism (oooh that big word meaning blurred vision makes me sound smarticle!) attached to it. What it brings to my mind, at the end of the day, is that it is WHITE skin that is the mutuation, however the ins and outs of that get very technical!!
I will admit that seeing a gang of young men in hoodies lingering around will sometimes have the power to unsettle me, especially at night, but in the early hours of the evening when the guy was alone with a can of ice tea and some skittles... Makes you wonder if this was more about race than the fact there was anything suspicious going on!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 6

What am I greatful for today;
1) Finding out people do actually read the random crap that I write here... I was thinking that most of the stuff I put up in this blog, with the exception of the colour challenge, was stuff that people kinda ignored LOL. Most of it is a heap of badly written crap with no real depth and is about as interesting as watching paint dry, but THANK YOU to the people that do read it *hugs*
2) Being asked to go for an interview... The Hash, Marijuana and Hemp Museum in Amsterdam was the place I initially applied for, but one of their sister companies, Sensi Seed contacted me asking if I would be interested in store work. I was like SURE, any job right now would kick ass, then I realised it's a store for cannabis seeds... OH WELL beggar's can't be choosers and it will be interesting to say the least!!! Wish me luck!!
3)Finishing the story that I was writing... It won't win me any awards, but it is something silly for an upcoming post in the next few days!
4) Getting a HUGE long list of things I wanted to do DONE!... I love that feeling of satisfaction you get when you have everything you wanted to do, done! It makes you think "Yeah I didn't waste my day!"

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 5

What am I greatful for today;
My Mummy and Daddy... I miss them lots!
1) MY MUM!... I know I should be thankful for her everyday, and I am, but today is her Birthday, as here in Holland people say Gefeliciteerd meaning congratulations to anyone who knows the Birthday person, I do feel that thanks are to my mum for everything she's ever done for me... and YAY Gefeliciteerd to me!!!
2) Our local Vet... I hate saying this, as it makes me feel like a horrible person that doesn't take care of her dog, but Izzy has mange. Makes me feel dirty and breaks my heart to see Izzy so uncomfortable that she has to wear a cone all day to stop herself biting and making it red raw. Our Vet managed to squeeze us in for an emergency appointment at NO EXTRA CHARGE to give her an injection of a new drug that he thinks might help! Sometimes vets aren't just about money it seems!
3) Being asked to help with some Archaeology... One of my old uni friends, Jude, contacted me today to ask if I would help her with some Medieval Pottery Evaluation and I am so excited. It has been a while since I have been able to get involved in any real archaeology, and as she needed someone who specialised in Medieval Studies I was her girl!
4) Having some time to do some stuff for me... I had a fairly quiet day as far as working for Seraphim goes, and so today was a day for getting some me stuff done. I made a ton of pictures, both just point-n-click style and with some photoshopping, and it felt great to have a chance to play with photoshop again and you will get to see the results later I'm sure!! Mind you it was done on Hell's PC.
5) My USB Miffy... I know it sounds stupid but I am so greatful for my little 2GB Zip Stick (least that is what I always called them, you might call them a flash drive or a usb stick or something!) Since I am working on two different computers, Hell's when I get the chance and mine when I don't having that little thing helps me bunches as it means I can easily move from one to the other! Plus it looks like Miffy!!! There are no more reasons needed other than that!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 4

Things I feel greatful for today,
1) Hell won Concert Tickets... While he was at work last night at about 4am, HellBone won tickets to a concert in Amsterdam in October. The concert is a band neither of us have heard of before, AlascA. They sound OK, not really the type of music I would buy tickets to see, but as a free concert I won't be saying no, and as they don't sound bad it could be fun!!
2) Gacha Events... There is a new event that has started monthly in SL, called The Gacha Party... What a great way for me to get my Gacha Fix! I went to the new one today and won a necklace from Retro'. Though I went a bit mental at the Starlust one, I spent tons on cats and milk LOL!! Good Times!
3) Playing with my SL Clothes... In RL I am a big girl (and I mean really big not just a skinny person thinking that she's fat I mean big!) and clothes are expensive. In SL however, I am able to wear what I want and so today I spent time putting together an awesome outfit for the 52WOCC... AND I LOVE IT!
4) People who are willing to just listen... Been rather down in the dumps and bottling up lots of frustration. It's making me cry a lot more than necessary and it is making Hell come near to a breakdown too as he has no idea how to help me as is left feeling guilty! Step in my big sister Fledge, followed by my Daddy and the release has left me just that little bit lighter.
5) Antiques Roadshow... That classic BBC programme has been a huge part of my sunday nights ever since I was a baby. Mum has always watched it and now I watch it religiously too, I managed to record it last night, I am off to watch it now!!! YAY!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 3

Today I am greatful for;
1) Random Cuteness that you can find on the net... I found this picture while looking for something on the net today, and tracked it to find out there is a huge collection of these FruityCuties available to download. I love the cute Kawaii style, pictures like this bring a smile to my face and lighten my day no matter what my mood!
2) The sun coming out... I don't normally like the sun, I mean OK Springtime sun is good but I don't like it when it gets too hot, today however the sun kicks butt as it means my laundry will be dry faster hehe!
3) Chocolate Eggs... I know it's not Easter for a while yet, but I am a chocoholic through and through, this time of year as well as a bunch of tulips on our main table I have a little blow of brightly coloured chocolate eggs - looking pretty and perfect little chocolate bite to take away any craving!
4) My AMAZING Bedroom Snuggle Chair... I sit here whenever I need time to think or feel sad, and it's my favourite spot to sit when I feel homesick, as my bedroom is the snuggliest place in the house! We bought this chair second hand, apparently it had been used on a famous Dutch Television Talk Show...
5) All the lovely photos I'm seeing in the colour challenge... You guys are amazing, your photos are gorgeous and like with every week I feel blow away by the difference in style, creativity and yet equally impressive photos that everyone produces... *goes off to look for more photos I haven't seen yet*

That's some Crazy Arse Hair!

The Crazy Arse Hair Hunt, renamed as Crazy Hair Hunt because apparently people were changing the word "arse" to "ass" (both mean the same thing but arse is the British version hehe), is BACK!!! I have been talking about this hunt coming back and the coverage I have been working on for a while now, but last night I managed to post it.
There is currently a list of 67 Stores taking part in this hunt, although the full list on Seraphim only shows 62 as 5 were MIA, but all of these stores have the collective imagination of something so awesome that the world would implode in on itself for sheer level of creativity being too high... As you can tell I am pretty impressed with this line-up, but the collage would have been too huge to show them all, so check out the post on Seraphim for the other hair photos. Many of these designers don't take part in the regular events, a fair few were new to me, and a couple of them even came out of designing retirement JUST FOR THIS HUNT!! The styles are varied, and I am love with most of them, but watch out for them in upcoming posts because I am sure these will be around for a while hehe!!!

52WOCC2 - Week 14

Another week, another load of computer troubles as you might have noticed following my huge rant a few days ago, and another colour rolls in. I was thinking that I wouldn't get this week done, might have had to have been the first that I missed, OH MY GAH SHOCK HORROR... First off there was the issues what I was headbutting with my PC in general, but then there was the colour. First thought when I saw the colour was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO lol, we'd had a very, very, very similar colour last round, some of you may remember the Patriarch week lol, I hated that week I couldn't find anything I wanted and so I had cheated. Now we were facing the colour again under a different name and I faced a long dig through my wardrobe. Surprisingly I found something, Blue Blood and the Horror Haute event came to my rescue, I had a dress that was perfect. Then there was only the issue of working out what I wanted to do with it...
I was watching a documentary on Discovery Channel about Marie Antionette, for some reason it was on and I am a history geek so I was doomed lol, and I thought "WAIT A SECOND?! ROYAL, CAKE, I have Marie Antoinette Hair! SCORE!" The outcome being a look that I like to think of as what Marie Antoinette would have worn, if she was in SL, when she said "Let them Eat Cake!" I love that quote, I know it was a harsh time and the peasants had no bread, but that really sounds like something a fame hungry, wannabe, might say on modern reality television... LOL, oh and YAY FOR CAKE!!!
Week 14 - Royal Purple
Week 14: Cake for everyone!
What is she wearing;
Hair: Curio Obscura - Let Them Eat Cake Off Your Head
Make-up: elymode - Gluttony Shadows Full, KOSH - Wet Lips
Necklace: Panda Express - Plastick Princess
Dress: Blue Blood - Nina Dress
Pants: SPLASH - Shining Pants
Shoes: [Blossom] - Back to Basics
Pose Prop: CONCRETE FLOWERS - I Made You Cake

Don't like purple much, but LOVE Cake so I like this picture LOL... Mmmmm Cake it makes me wanna go bake a cake... Anyone know of any yummy cakes I should try my hand at baking??
Next Week - Seashell Peach

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 2

Straight in with the list of things that I am greatful for today, I'm hoping there will be lots of things hehe. By the way I'm not listing these in order of any importance, it's just the way that the cookie crumbled hehe...
1) LASHAE KARSIN (and the rest of the Seraphim bloggers)... I singled Lashae out for praise today because this woman is a freaking trooper. As per usual I had about a million things to get done today for Seraphim, but when I asked her if she would cover a sale for me this morning, she agreed and did it superfast even though it was 3am for her!! She's one of the Seraphim Super Machines, and without them I would crack hehe!!! The others rock too and they help make Seraphim what it is, without them it wouldn't be the same, so even though Shae is the one with the praise here, all the Seraphimers kick mighty ass!
2) When people just IM to say 'Hello"... People that I know but not necessarily well, IMmed me today just to say Hello and see how I was, that really makes you feel good inside. Sama and noelle, you guys really brought a smile to my face and all it took was a hello! Thanks guys!
3) Hell working Nights... Don't get me wrong I love snuggling up with Helly at night, especially when I have cold feet, but I relish the nights he has to go to work because I GET THE WHOLE BED TO MYSELF!!! YAY!
4) Crossing things OFF My To-Do List... I am constantly making myself lists of things to do, today I managed to get a ton of things crossed off my list and that always makes me feel really good and is definitely something to be greatful about.
